CMYK , Pantone , RGB and RAL are four distinct colour systems used throughout all design , printing and painting.

CMYK

Used mainly for printing processes , cyan , magenta , yellow and black. 4 plates are used in the printing press and the colours are mixed up. Dots on newspapers are registration marks to line up sheets.

RGB

Used for screen and electronic devices , the colours are formed used 3 light beams of various intensity. If all were combined then would create white.

Pantone

Used in printing , can be specific for a distinct brand colour. It ensures that there is consistency of the brand colour throughout all printing and reproduction

RAL

It is used mainly for powder coating varnish and plastic colouring. Used for painting items in your brand colours such as physical items like business assets.
