We started looking at Physical design tools such as The Pencil , Pen , fax, collage and photocopiers create all these different layers and textures. Physical design tools offer greater flexibility and freedom for exploration. They allow for quick iterations, sketching, and brainstorming ideas without the constraints of digital interfaces. It's easier to experiment, make mistakes, and explore different concepts on paper before committing to a final design. Also Many designers find that working with physical tools stimulates creativity and imagination. The organic nature of hand-drawn designs can give a sense of uniqueness, allowing for more personal expression.

While digital design tools offer their own advantages, the use of physical tools can provide a refreshing alternative, promoting a more tactile, exploratory, and immersive design experience. Many designers employ a combination of physical and digital tools to leverage the unique strengths of each approach.

For example drawing tablets require just a tablet with unlimited paper and very little equipment needed where you can paint , draw , graffiti etc all on one surface.

Firewatch

Firewatch is a video game that came out in 2016 by Campo Santo. It is known for its very distinctive art style. The game's art director, 2D Models and lighting director Olly Moss, took inspiration from nature and wilderness photography, resulting in a visually captivating and immersive experience. The use of a limited colour palette and stylized textures enhances the game's distinct look and feel.
