For our first task we need to create 5 frames ( each 1080 x 1080px) that display simple storyboard throughout the 5 frames. We are limited to just monochromatic.
We need to create 5 frames for each Point , Line and Plane. For each of the following we are giving a set of key words which our storyboarded is orientated around.
Point - Reflect, Multiply, Disperse, Proximity, Scale, Dominance.
Line - rhythm, frequency, symmetry, asymmetry
Plane - Set 1 Horizontal only , Set 2 Horizontal and Vertical , Set 3 Horizontal , Vertical and Tone
I started with some basic sketching to get an idea what designs I wanted to do and what storyboard where my frames going to be giving.
Point
For point I started with a simple reflection frame running my reflection line horizontally. For my second set I used disperse as my focus , creating an outwards pattern starting from a single point.
Line
For line I created my first frame aimed towards , asymmetry. I duplicated the side then added different weights and sizes to create an asymmetric layout. My second set of frames was inspired by a circuit board as is running through all the frames. I used a horizontal symmetry line here as well as my focus.
